It's almost a tradition to release my work, when a remix contest comes to an end on KevinNottingham.com and this time Im proud to present 14 instrumentals ready to lay vocals on and complete the joints, so if MC's feels temped, go ahead but holla back with the result..
Every time I begin on a project, its hard to see the direction and great to feel the rush setting the course for another album.. As the classic LL Joint, a lot of the original samples came from James Brown, so it wasnt hard to make it funky, but I had to stear away from the sound whenever possible to make the album 'breath'..

Another KevinNottingham.com remix contest. I did win the last week and got my joint on it so Im all good. And I must say, that never have I been more proud of a final product.

FUCK UFO

A while back, KevinNottingham had a post describing a sucker trying to be bigshot, yanking about how much he hates Charles Hamilton and that this chump should be promoted more.. So he wrote Kevin and this made Kevin respond in his manner... Up for discussion and this dude wouldnt let go and did even pretend to be two of his girlish friends... His joint are lousy and sounds like Divine style on a bad day, so I had to step up in this, backing my main man up.. So I flipped a quick joint with his own complaining voice from Youtube and Guru and Tim Dog telling this wiener to know his place and shut up... I then decided to make a video quick and so I did... Now, what I didnt expect was this loser to grasp my profile and take some private pics of my children, copy them to his computer and throw them through photoshop, you fucking pervert..
Now Ive reached a forkin the road... The first is full of ideas to release some tensions and cut some vocals in on some beats and make UFO look dumb.. Now he's looking dumb now, but I still need release....
The second road is to ignore him, dont respond to anything other than to report his video to myspace and let the sucker live....

So for now, imma let you look at the cover, while I make beats and salute the King of Pop...

Ive grown into a huge Sean P fan - I was a fan of Helter Skelter in thae 90s, but listening to them now is just awesome, and Sean P does hisbest - He's ready to do damage...

It's been a while, since I saw the news about DJ Premier producing atrack for Eminem's new album and I cant get it out of my mind, so Ihad to get an idea of the sound of them together.. I did one mix ofthem together and had to try again – The result is here and is called'What if..' in the spirit of a series of Marvel comics which presentsan alternative happening.. This happening is Em on Primo beats, andI've tried to create them as a blend between the two..Enjoy the mix, as we awaits the Eminem album… just as we await the newDre album..

The Wu Journal

An old Chinese fable tells the story of one clan's journey to the
temple, in which they were instructed to protect. This clan saved the emperor of the Tang Dynasty on this journey, but they were reduced from 13 to 9 in the struggle. The emperor allowed the Shaolin temple to have soldier monks and allowed the 9 remaining monks to be immortalized in the tombs of the celebrated Shaolin monks.
The Wu Journal are the remix album, combining the wellknown lyrics of members of WuTangClan with wellknown Chinese instruments and Shaolin flicks, recreating the soundscapes of acient china and a feeling of the clan returning home to the temple of Wu.
